Another strong telepath for Cyclops, who has latent telekinetic abilities that are waiting to be unlocked, is good for him now that Madelyn is gone. It ain't fair on Wolverine that the mutant woman he loves so had deeper romantic feelings for "the boy scout" than him; cloned or not.
If they are doing more of the original animated show, then why not this and Evolution, too?
I really, really want to see how Jean feels about Logan in charge, and how they will put a stop to Apocalypse and Mr. Sinister.
In addition, seeing Evolution's version of "The Dark Phoenix" saga would be really cool and epic indeed! It was foreshadowed in "Power Surge" and foreseen by Charles, after all. And having Havoc on the team with his elder brother Cyclops.
Just why did she not appear as member of the team? Her intangibility, and maybe even invisibility if her abilities ever got a boost, would be a great help.
Now that there is a sequel to the 1990s show of the 2D animated show, the least they could do is do the same for the early 2000s show!
I really, really wanna see the Evolution version of Jean being one with the almighty Phoenix Force, as foreseen by Charles Xavier himself: "With a heavy heart, I have seen the dearest of friends become the most terrible of enemies."
And I wonder what this version of the telepath, diamond-transforming Emma Frost would look like and her forming a relationship with Scott/Cyclops. Plus, Rogue has yet to permanently have Miss Marvel's abilities. I assume Mystique would still be manipulating events with her shapeshifting ability.
She can return to life whenever she wishes now. The Phoenix Force will always be a part of her. If only we heard her speak, but no!! Just her human-mutant host.
