Just like me, the "difference" mutants have from "normal" people... the fact that they were born with it and can't always control it... as a nondivergent It sticks with me. They are misfits, outcasts from society, and they can't control the way they were born. For some of them, it is hard to see a "brighter day of tomorrow", and it is hard to go on living. They have gifts, but for most of them it often feels like a curse, and they wish, more then anything that they could be "normal". And one day they need to Xcept themselves the way that they are... As someone who was born with a brain that "works differently", I can feel this In my day-to-day life. But, just like the X-Men, I can chose to use my "powers" for good. And there are even schools for people like me! Kids with anxiety, Autism, ADHD... Schools for "gifted youngsters", like myself. With real-life Xaviers who are there to help us grow into the best "mutants" we can be. Because that's what us ADHDers are! We are mutants. And It is time we are mutant and proud. Why? Because we have a very groovy mutation!
