Blink (Clarice Ferguson)[]
Blink (Clarice Ferguson) is a fictional character, a Marvel Comics superhero featured in various X-Men-related series. Blink is a mutant with the power of teleportation. Blink has the ability to teleport herself and others at will. Blink can teleport large masses, including sizable groups of people. She can also use her powers in a destructive manner by teleporting only parts of objects. She can open portals that displace projectiles and even enemies that threaten her. Blink's portals are typically pink and accompanied by a "Blink" sound.
Blink's Look[]
Blink also has lilac skin, dark pink hair, pointed ears and pupil-less green eyes (this was a change in Exiles: both Ultimate Marvel and Age of Apocalypse Blink has white eyes with a blue sheen). She also has pink marks across her face: these are not decorations or tattoos, and were present from birth.
Blink in X-Men Movie[]
Chinese actress Fan Bingbing portrays Blink in the 2014 film X-Men: Days of Future Past. At the beginning of the film, Blink attempts to stall the Sentinels so Kitty and Bishop could change the past, but she closes a portal too late and is impaled by a Sentinel that managed to get its arm through. Kitty and Bishop however change the past and Blink survives. While stalling the Sentinels, so Wolverine could alter the timeline, she teleports a dying Magneto through the barrier he created to keep Kitty Pryde, Professor X and Wolverine from harm, allowing him to somewhat die in peace alongside Charles. She is then fatally stabbed by a trio of Sentinels, falling in battle along with Storm, Colossus, Warpath, Sunspot and Bishop. These events are later erased by the altering of the timeline.
