Mariko Yashida is Wolverine's former love interest. She is now married to the Silver Samurai (Kenuichio Harada).

Mariko is a Japanese woman with short black hair. She wears a beige shirt under a green-grey blazer with a dark brown belt around it, beige gloves, a dark brown pencil skirt and black high heels.
History[]
Mariko Yashida was Logan's former love and the wife Kenuichio Harada aka the Silver Samurai. Wolverine spent of sometime in Japan and met and fell in love with Mariko, but the Yakuza had him duel Silver Samurai over her.
Many years later, the Silver Samurai abducted the X-Men. Mariko came to America and arrived at the Japanese Embassy looking for her husband. Mariko Yashida was present during the duel with Silver Samurai and Wolverine.
After Silver Samurai acted dishonorably (by using his mutant powers when they weren't allowed), the Yakuza Leader annulled the duel, and the Silver Samurai was taken away in shame.
The Yakuza Leader then agreed to release the captured X-Men. Mariko explained to Logan that the Silver Samurai will be driven away by the Yakuza in shame. Logan then asked her why she originally chose Silver Samurai and explained that she swore an oath of loyalty to him or else the Yakuza would've killed them. Logan and Mariko then went their separate ways and returned to their lives.
