Storm's Parents Demise[]
Although many later comics and X-men encyclopedias say it was a terrorist bomb that destroyed Storm's childhood home in Cairo and killed her parents, it was actually a plane crashing into the house that caused the tragedy. The confusion may stem from X-men #60 (Jan 97) where Storm says ‘But one day, our home was destroyed by a bombing during the Arab-Israeli conflict.’. The plane can be seen that demolished the house in the background with Storm buried in rubble. This is the frame from the original UXM comic that tells the story but it is not explicitly said that the plane caused the damage in X-men #60. Other comics after this refer to a ‘terrorist bomb’ killing them. CableFTW 12:44, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
