Uncanny X-Men (Volume 3) is the third volume under the Uncanny X-Men brand of comic books. The book was a relaunch of Uncanny X-Men (Volume 2), relaunched as part of the Marvel NOW! initiative.
Plot[]
Cyclops and the rest of the Phoenix Five have been defeated, the Phoenix is pressumably extinguished, and the release of the Phoenix energies not only gave the world new mutants, it also broke the powers of Magneto, Cyclops, Emma and others. After been tagged as a villain and escaping imprisonment, Cyclops with the aid of Magneto and Magik, and Emma as well, create a new group of X-Men and form the New Charles Xavier School for Mutants on location at an abandoned Weapon X facility.
