Wolverine (Vol. 2) is the first and longest running unlimited Wolverine solo series. The concept of Logan having natural "bone claws" originates in 1993 issue of this series. Wolverine did not get his adamantium back until Apocalypse gave him a rebonding procedure in #145 in december of 1999, one year before the release of the X-Men movie.
